Getting Ready for the Coming Wild Economic Ride – Part 1
Undoubtedly, you’ve seen the recent shakeup in the news on how the Fed is thinking about tightening up the free money they’ve been handing out to bankers. The purpose of all this printed money, we were told, was to give the economy time to heal itself and thus avoid an economic collapse. Trillions of dollars were given to Wall Streeters and bankers, yet we have little to show for it. The media has long ignored the fact that this injection of money hasn’t accomplished anything but keep friends of the Fed in a constant supply of cash. This is, of … Continue reading
Surviving EMP – Faraday Box Testing – Part 3
This is part three of my three-part video series on testing Faraday shielding. In this video, I show how many layers of aluminum foil it takes to successfully shield a 50,000 watt AM signal, while standing at the base of the stations antenna array. Be sure to check out Part 1 for an explanation on why this testing is far superior than using a cell phone or ‘walkie-talkie’ for testing the shielding effectiveness. This was part of the research I did for the The Preparedness Podcast Mini-Guide: Surviving EMP [Kindle Edition] ebook. Relavent links: The Preparedness Podcast Mini-Guide: Surviving EMP [Kindle Edition] ebook … Continue reading

Surviving EMP – Faraday Box Testing – Part 1
When I was testing different Faraday containers, I took three videos of what worked and demonstrated it shielding 50,000 watts of AM radio signal. A strong AM radio signal, is a good test of EM/RF shielding, because the properties of medium wave allow it to easily penetrate most materials. Since we want to shield against high-levels of EM waves, if you can block a strong AM signal when standing at the base of the station’s antenna, you know you have decent shielding. in this first video, I show how nesting Faraday shielding with aluminum foil and a metal trash can … Continue reading

Will You Survive a Collapse Crisis?
Charlie McGrath of WideAwakeNews.com did an excellent video essay on getting home safely. In this video, Charlie shows how having a Get Home Bag, which is his EDC – Every Day Carry, and a plan to get home via an alternate route can keep you much safer than trying to face whatever upheaval is happening in the city. Have you made your plan to get back home? Do you carry a Get Home Bag with you all the time? you can also watch it on YouTube here: http://youtu.be/lmudsLgEvWM

EMP Preparedness
EMP, or Electromagnetic Pulse, is one of the threats that we face from anyone who has a nuclear bomb and can lob it high enough into the air. While it’s a little more complex than that, the basic premise is that it’s far too easy for our enemies to annihilate our way of life by employing just one weapon. This article is about how you can protect your equipment from EMP. For more information about EMP and the associated dangers, please see this post: What is EMP? You can also listen to the EMP and EMP podcast for a complete … Continue reading
