Rob, Greg, and Mike return in Episode 16 to finish off the “100 Items to Disappear First in a Disaster Situation” with items 51-100. As originally approached in Episode 14, The PPC crew tries to help people cut through sea of information by offering a review of the “100” list while stressing that the list should be approached as a “think” list as opposed to a definite and finite source for preparedness information. It’s important as preppers, to never take items like the “100 list” as gold standard, but instead use sources as spring boards or inspiration for your own personal preparedness plan. Preparedness is something that requires active participation and enormous amounts of personalization to be successful.
Red River Flood – The Red River reached a high of 40.8 feet (12.4 meters) early Saturday in Fargo — breaking the previous record of 40.1 feet (12.2 meters) in 1897 — and only inches below the top of the city’s highest levees. These are tremendous pictures from the flooding.
