Prepper News Watch for October 21, 2014

If you’re going to be in the area this weekend, make sure to head over to Prepper Fest Az and check out all of the great classes and vendors booths. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend this season’s Prepper Fest, but it’s a top notch preparedness expo and worth the trip. For those of you who have been following me on this blog and on the podcast (which hasn’t had a recent episode lately – hopefully I’ll be able to put out one soon), you know I am not terribly worried about this current Ebola outbreak. While the outbreak … Continue reading

Prepper News Watch for October 20, 2014

Many websites are still propagating the “this virus is different” fear angle. It’s not different, or at least, not different in any significant way. Sure, it *could* go airborne, but it is not airborne now. How do we know? Simply by looking at the number of new cases. If Ebola became airborne, there would be a dramatic spike in new cases and it would quickly become uncontrollable. We are not seeing that. In fact, there is evidence this Ebola outbreak is starting to end. Compare the maps in these two WHO documents for September 18, 2014 and October 17, 2014. We … Continue reading

Prepper News Watch for October 16, 2014

While the panic grows over Ebola, yellow fever mosquitoes, which can transmit dengue, chikungunya, and yellow fever itself, have been found in the Los Angeles area. It’s a grim reminder we are facing more than one potential scenario, so don’t get blindsided because you’re too focused on a single issue. If you have been waiting to purchase any food or supplies, you might want to rethink your time table, as these items are beginning to dwindle and shipping times are being extended. This is occurring because people, both preppers and non-preppers, are looking at the situation and grabbing what they … Continue reading

Prepper News Watch for October 15, 2014

One of the primary skills a prepper must have is the ability to think for themselves. This includes filtering out hype, panic, and hyperbole to get to the facts and truth. Right now, we are being slammed with news that Ebola is about to go airborne or it already has gone airborne. The panic this is causing is beginning to heat up and it will only get worse. Ebola is not airborne. Nor is it “primed” to mutate into an airborne virus. The possibility exists, but until it does, stop panicking. Ebola is a scary disease, but there are other … Continue reading

Prepper News Watch for October 13, 2014

We’re hearing a lot about how the healthcare worker for the US Ebola Index Patient became infected with Ebola, even though they wore “protective gear.” However, what seems to be lacking in these stories is the type of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) used. Everyone is making a big deal about becoming infected while wearing PPE, but everyone is also overlooking that unless your PPE provides 100% coverage, you’re not protected. Case in point: Watch this video about the “Ebola kits” that “UCLA Infectious Disease Experts” have assembled. Notice how there is no protection for the top and back of the … Continue reading

Want to Know Why Healthcare Workers are Becoming Infected with Ebola?

Infection control is not fun. Having to wear a hazard suit and/or gown, mask, gloves, goggles, hood, and boots/booties is very hot and uncomfortable. Try wearing an N95 mask for 8 hours and see how well you fare. People will cut corners any chance they get to increase their comfort. If you don’t decontaminate properly, infection is likely. Simply put: lack of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection control is why healthcare workers are getting infected. When you don’t protect 100% of your body from infected patients, the odds of you contracting the disease increases dramatically. You must consider … Continue reading

FREE Radioactive Hot Particle Testing of Auto and Home Air Filters

During my interview with Steve Aukstakalnis of AlertsUSA Inc., we forgot to mention this great service that he sponsors: With the ongoing Fukushima disaster in Japan, failing waste storage tanks at Hanford, and faltering nuclear power facilities across the country, the recent release of radioactive materials into the air at the DOE Waste Isolation Pilot Plant near Carlsbad, NM is again heightening concerns about possible health risks to the general public, and rightfully so. Are there radioactive ‘hot particles’ floating around in the air in your local area that could be breathed in? What about inside of your home? The … Continue reading

Recommended Reading: Pass the SHIELD Act Now, Before It’s Too Late

Published on Breitbart Feed // visit site On June 18, the Congressional EMP Caucus held a public event to launch the SHIELD Act, which would protect the national electric grid from a natural or manmade electromagnetic pulse (EMP). EMP is like super-lightning that can damage and destroy electronic systems everywhere across vast regions, potentially across the entire continental United States. An EMP catastrophe would blackout the national electric grid for months or years, stopping the operation of all the critical infrastructures–communications, transportation, banking and finance, food and water–that sustain modern society and the lives of the American people. EMP is … Continue reading
