How To Prevent The Most Common Injuries You Can Get In The Woods

Guest post by Natasha Ramirez More people than ever are flocking to the woods for a quick hike after a long day at work, for a fun weekend getaway, or to get some exercise. But the woods can be a dangerous place for the unprepared – especially if you need to spend an extended length of time in them. Unexpected weather, dangerous animals, and new terrain can make living in these conditions particularly hard. Preppers know that if disaster strikes, the woods may become an important place to be able to survive in long-term.  As a testament to the danger of … Continue reading

How to Prepare for Injuries Before and After Doomsday

The very basis of prepping and survival is to ensure that you and your loved ones live long and healthy lives, regardless of what happens in the world around you. A Prepper Guide For Seniors

Prepper guides are generally created with a wide demographic in mind. However, they can become even more practical when tailored to meet more individualized needs. One demographic in particular, seniors, seem to often lack specialized prepping guides.  There are several special considerations to take into account for seniors (or family members of seniors) who are working towards being well-prepped and safe. Some of these considerations include assisted living vs. independent living, access to healthcare, and mobility.  With these in mind, seniors can have a more inclusive prepper guide that will help them perfect the art of survival. Pandemic 2020 #2 – COVID-19 is Not a Hoax

If you are doing your own research on this COVID-19 disease and all that’s happening with it, then it’s likely you’re coming across some conflicting information. One of the main issues in finding reliable COVID information is the large amount of politicizing taking place. You would think with a global killer pandemic we could pull together, but apparently not.  I’ve just finished looking at this CDC “report”  everyone is referring to ( First of all, it’s not a report, it’s a series of planning scenarios. Second, the information is at least a month out of date. And thirdly and most … Continue reading

Alternatives to the N95 Mask

If you’re having a difficult time finding N95 respirators (masks), here’s an alternative to consider; And these alternatives work as good or better than the typical N95! Reusable half face respirators can use a wide variety of filters, including P95 and P100 filters. Note that the ‘P’ designation means the filter material is oil proof. The filter for these masks come in pairs and are about as expensive as N95 and N100 masks, perhaps even a little cheaper. And, most importantly, you can still find them, even though all the N95 and N100 masks are sold out. There are different … Continue reading

2019-nCoV – The Wuhan Coronavirus Potential Pandemic Operations

Editor’s Note: I am posting this on here for others to use as a thinking tool. This was written by me, for me, though some of the content has been taken from other sources. I’ve included links for those sources where I felt it was needed. Please keep in mind that I make no warranty to the accuracy of this information. At this time, finding N95 or N100 masks is futile, as all stock is gone. Stock seems to be gone even faster than previous high-tension periods. If you didn’t already have them, chances are you’re not going to get … Continue reading

Growing Moringa to Protect Yourself from Radiation

Growing Moringa to protect yourself from radiation is possible, regardless of the growing zone where you reside and even if you live in an apartment. Moringa, also known as the Drumstick Tree or Tree of Life, is just as potent in its dwarf form as its standard, nearly 40-foot-tall, natural height. The Moringa tree has long been a favorite of herbalists and preppers for a copious amount of reasons, but only in recent years have there been studies into its radiation-protective properties. The Drumstick Tree Every single part of the Moringa tree is edible – the leaves, seeds, flowers, nuts, … Continue reading
