A couple weeks ago, I posted a link to a light I accidentally stated was solar powered. It wasn’t (and I quickly fixed the link), but this one is.
This Bright Outdoor LED Light has a 4.1 rating with 1,272 ratings on Amazon. Though not the “end-all, do-all” of lights, if you have a dark corner of the yard, here’s one option for lighting it up at night.
Although it is a motion sensing light, it has other useful modes: Automated switch – Auto on at night / auto off at sunrise; Dim light when no motion / Bright light activates when sensing motion.
Motion detector lights are highly useful for securing your perimeter. Often, criminals will leave when the lights start coming on, but if you find yourself needing to watch the perimeter, motion detector lights can alert you to activity in a given area.
During a grid down situation, these lights can be used for indoor lighting. Then recharge them outside during the day.
